Overview
Forgiven is an arena for Co-op Kaiju Horror Cooking's Versus mode, in which players are tasked with collecting
food & preparing recipes for their team's Kaiju while trying to stop the enemy team from doing the same.
As the gamemode was already shipping with two fairly large and branching arenas aimed at supporting larger player counts, Forgiven was designed as a smaller & more interconnected playspace for 2v2 or even 1v1 matches.

Development Role
Forgiven was created entirely as a solo effort, using assets built for the game's main Co-operative mode.

- Whiteboxed & tested the rough layout, paying attention to player routing & key engagement areas
- Implemented all map logic such as item & enemy spawn areas, scripted interactables, etc
- Iterated on the initial layout until reaching a solid final version that was balanced for both small & large lobbies
- Implemented all art and environment design by using and re-purposing existing assets
